The Burger Motorsports JB4 B58 tuner represents the most advanced plug-and-play tuning system for BMW B58 turbocharged engines, offering substantial performance enhancements without the risks associated with ECU flashing. On a completely stock B58 engine using pump gas, expect power gains of up to 120 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Even greater gains are achievable with bolt-on upgrades, higher octane fuel, E85 mixtures, or larger turbochargers. This tuning system features a simple plug-and-play wiring harness for quick installation and removal, ensuring full reversibility. Unlike traditional ECU flash tuning, the JB4 does not necessitate staged upgrades or permanent modifications. Its advanced capabilities include on-the-fly map switching, boost-by-gear control for enhanced traction, progressive water/methanol integration, built-in data logging, and fault code reading/clearing.
