JB4 B58 Tuner

The Burger JB4 B58 tuner is the most advanced plug-and-play tuning system available for BMW B58 turbocharged engines, designed to deliver significant power gains without the risks associated with ECU flashing. It can provide up to 120 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque at the wheels on a completely stock B58 engine running pump gas. Even greater gains are achievable with bolt-on upgrades, higher octane fuel, or E85 mixtures. The JB4 features a simple plug-and-play wiring harness, allowing for quick installation and removal while providing advanced tuning capabilities. Key features include on-the-fly map switching between stock and performance maps, boost-by-gear control for improved traction, progressive water/methanol integration, built-in data logging, and the ability to read and clear fault codes. It also offers direct electronic wastegate control to prevent throttle closure with exhaust upgrades. Unlike traditional ECU flash tuning, the JB4 does not require staged upgrades or additional modifications. It installs as a first upgrade, delivering stronger turbo response, smoother power delivery, and significantly improved acceleration. The system is compatible with locked ECUs and runs as smoothly as stock, integrating fully with all driving modes without impacting fuel economy during normal driving. The JB4 is also CARB approved under Executive Order D-744-4 for many 2016-2018 BMW applications. The JB4 supports E85 ethanol blends and includes the JB4PRO adapter with free app integration for wireless connectivity to iOS or Android devices. This allows for data recording and analysis, map changes, and firmware updates. The tuner is compatible with GEN1 and GEN2 B58 engines, with a separate product available for the B58TU2 GEN3 motor.
