JB4 B58 Tuning System

The Burger Tuning JB4 is an advanced, plug-and-play performance tuning system specifically engineered for BMW B58 engines. This system installs between your car's sensors and the ECU, manipulating performance data to deliver substantial power gains, faster turbo response, and a smoother acceleration curve without permanently altering the ECU. Unlike traditional ECU flash tuning, the JB4 can be installed as a first modification, immediately enhancing your driving experience. It comes preloaded with custom software and up to eight maps, catering to different fuel grades (including E85 compatibility) and modification levels. Key features include in-dash map switching, boost control by gear to improve traction, and support for progressive water/methanol injection systems. The JB4 also offers built-in data logging, code reading, and the ability to control exhaust flap operation for sound customization. An optional JB4PRO adapter enables wireless Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone app (iOS/Android). This allows for real-time data analysis, performance map changes, and firmware updates, all through an intuitive interface. For those planning higher power builds, the JB4PRO board offers enhanced features like fuel pressure control for ethanol mixtures and compatibility with port injection or water/methanol systems via PNP harnesses. The JB4 tuner is compatible with a wide range of BMW models featuring B58 engines, including various 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Series, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, and Z4 models from 2016 onwards. It is also compatible with the Toyota Supra Mk5 (A90/A91). For optimal performance, it is recommended to pair the JB4 with a BMS B58 Downpipe and Air Intake. The system is not VIN-locked and can be removed without a trace, offering flexibility for resale or transfer between vehicles.
