JB4 BETA Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 BETA Tuner is a performance module designed to enhance the capabilities of select MINI models. This tuner offers a significant power increase, with claims of up to 40hp at the wheels (50hp crank) on a stock B48 engine using pump gas. Its installation is straightforward due to a plug-and-play harness, eliminating the need for other modifications or previous tuning stages. Key features of the JB4 tuner include on-the-fly map switching directly from the dashboard, allowing drivers to alternate between factory settings and various performance maps. It also provides optional in-dash gauge displays for real-time boost monitoring. For improved traction, especially in lower gears, the tuner incorporates boost limiting by gear functionality. Additional support includes E85 fuel, progressive water/methanol injection, built-in data logging, and integrated code reading. While the JB4 is designed for immediate use without user setup, advanced enthusiasts can utilize the BMS DATA cable to connect to a laptop for data logging and to access free software updates. The unit is noted to be compatible with the B38, B46, and B48 engines found in 2014 and newer MINI S models.
