The Burger JB4 Group 2 is a true user-adjustable, plug-and-play engine tuning solution for MQB-based VW and Audi vehicles equipped with the EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine. It enhances performance by manipulating vehicle sensors and ECU connections to increase speed and responsiveness. The default setting on 91 octane fuel provides an initial gain of approximately 45bhp and 45ft-lb of torque, with an increase of over 4.50psi in boost pressure compared to stock. For users seeking maximum performance, the JB4 can achieve up to 90bhp and 70ft-lb gains when combined with bolt-on modifications, higher octane fuel, and further boost adjustments, particularly when utilizing the optional JB4PRO Bluetooth connection. This system offers advanced features such as CANbus connectivity for direct AFR and CANbus integration, sophisticated safety systems to monitor boost, air/fuel ratio, fuel trims, and engine knock, and boost mapping by gear to improve traction. It also includes integrated water/meth control and can support IS38 turbo upgrades for outputs exceeding 400hp. The JB4PRO Bluetooth adapter and free app, compatible with iOS and Android devices, allow for wireless connectivity. This enables users to monitor and analyze vehicle and tuning data, switch between JB4 performance maps, and update firmware as new versions become available. The adapter is designed to fit entirely within the JB4 enclosure for enhanced weather protection and a streamlined appearance.
