The Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner is a comprehensive performance upgrade for BMW N55-powered F-series vehicles with pneumatic wastegates. It features a plug-and-play design that integrates with the vehicle's CANbus, offering multiple performance maps, boost-by-gear control, and the ability to read and clear diagnostic fault codes. The tuner is housed in a billet aluminum enclosure and includes wireless connectivity via an included adapter, which works with the JB4PRO app for real-time datalogging, map switching, and firmware updates. Performance gains vary based on the vehicle setup, with stock cars seeing significant increases in wheel horsepower and torque. The system requires 91 octane fuel or higher to achieve advertised performance improvements and is fully removable with no VIN-locking, ensuring no permanent changes to the factory ECU. Installation is intended for off-road racing use only. Note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as mandated by the California Air Resources Board.
