JB4 Performance Tuner

The Burger Tuning Group 19 JB4 is a user-adjustable, plug-and-play performance tuner engineered for EA888 Gen4 based models equipped with electric assist. This system enhances vehicle performance by manipulating sensor inputs and ECU outputs, resulting in significant power and torque gains without altering the factory ECU. It provides a safe and smooth power increase while retaining all factory safety systems. The JB4 tuner installs between your car's sensors and its DME/ECU, making your vehicle faster. Key features include advanced CANbus connectivity for more sophisticated tuning, direct Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) control, and comprehensive safety systems monitoring boost, AFR, fuel trims, and engine knock. It also offers boost mapping by gear to enhance traction and integrated water/methanol control. The tuner is housed in a durable billet aluminum enclosure and comes with a 5-year warranty. Enhancing the user experience, the JB4 includes the JB4PRO adapter for seamless Bluetooth connectivity to iOS or Android devices. This allows for wireless connection to the JB4PRO app, enabling users to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, switch between performance maps, and update JB4 firmware with free new versions. The app features an intuitive interface, helpful buttons, and advanced log analysis tools. Power gains are estimated at 35hp and 50 ft-lb on 91 octane, and 45hp and 60 ft-lbs on 93 octane with a conservative tune. This performance tuner also improves 0-60 and quarter-mile times, includes multiple tuning maps for various fuel types, and supports E85 ethanol blends. It can read and delete fault codes, display and log up to 40 engine parameters, and control exhaust flap operation on supported vehicles. The JB4 is not VIN-locked, is fully removable, and runs as smoothly as stock, compatible with all driving modes without impacting fuel economy during normal driving. It requires 91 octane or better for performance gains.
