JB4 Performance Tuner

The Burger Motorsports N54 JB4 Performance Tuner is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of turbocharged BMW vehicles. This advanced tuning device installs by connecting between the vehicle's existing sensors and the DME/ECU, allowing it to actively manage performance parameters for increased speed and responsiveness. Unlike basic chip tunes, the JB4 utilizes sophisticated CANbus integration, fuel and spark control, and offers Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone or laptop data analysis and tuning adjustments. BMS consistently provides free mapping and firmware updates, ensuring the tuner evolves with new features and performance enhancements. Installation is described as a quick plug-and-play process, and the JB4 is compatible with all ECU versions and transmission types. It supports E85 ethanol blends and offers multiple tuning maps selectable on the fly, alongside a stock bypass map, valet mode, and an auto-tuning map that adapts to current driving conditions and modifications. The tuner can also read and delete fault codes and displays up to 40 engine parameters. It is designed to work seamlessly with the JB4 Mobile app (separate purchase required) and provides a 5-year warranty. This tuner is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California. It is specifically designed for the BMW N54 engine across various models including the 1 Series (E82, E88, 1M), 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, E93, 335is), 5 Series (E60, E61), X Series (E71 X6 xDrive35i), and Z Series (E89 Z4 sDrive35i/is), covering model years from 2006 to 2016 depending on the specific chassis. Power gains of up to 100hp and 100tq to the wheels on stock vehicles are reported, with significant improvements to 0-60 and quarter-mile times.
