JB4 Performance Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 Performance Tuner represents a highly advanced and feature-rich tuning solution for BMW vehicles powered by B38, B46, and B48 engines. The JB4 offers significant power gains, with up to 40hp to the wheels (55hp at the crank) reported for B48 engines, and even higher gains achievable with additional modifications. Key features of the JB4 include on-the-fly map switching directly from the cabin, allowing users to select between factory and various performance maps. It also offers boost limiting by gear for improved traction, progressive water/methanol injection support, built-in data logging capabilities, and the ability to read and clear fault codes. For users with exhaust modifications, it provides optional direct EWG control to prevent throttle closure and exhaust flapper control. The JB4 is designed to be the first and only modification needed, providing a smooth and fast racing experience. It automatically detects the specific B38, B46, or B48 engine model upon startup, simplifying the setup process. For advanced users, the JB4 is compatible with optional data cables or Bluetooth adapters, enabling wireless connection to iOS/Android devices or Windows laptops for real-time data analysis, map adjustments, and firmware updates. The JB4 system is not VIN-locked, allowing it to be removed without a trace and resold.
