JB4 Performance Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 is a plug-and-play performance tuner engineered for turbocharged Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis vehicles equipped with 2.0L turbo engines. This tuner enhances performance by connecting to your vehicle's sensors and ECU, allowing it to remap boost, timing, and fueling strategies. The result is a noticeable reduction in turbo lag and a significant increase in power and torque. The JB4 boasts full CANbus integration, enabling it to process a wide range of real-time vehicle data, including pedal input, throttle position, gear, engine speed, air/fuel ratio, fuel trims, and knock detection, to optimize performance mapping. It also offers advanced safety features, such as maintaining low boost until the engine and oil reach optimal operating temperature, and automatically reducing boost if the engine overheats, runs lean, excessively knocks, or over-boosts. Beyond performance enhancement, the JB4 offers advanced functionality. It can read and delete fault codes, displays and logs up to 40 engine parameters, and features boost-by-gear control for improved traction. The unit is compatible with the free JB4PRO app, which provides Bluetooth connectivity for iOS and Android devices, allowing for data analysis, map changes, and firmware updates. The JB4 itself is housed in a durable billet aluminum enclosure, is designed and assembled in the USA, and comes with a 5-year warranty. Installation is straightforward and fully reversible, leaving no trace when removed. This JB4 tuner is compatible with a wide range of 2.0L turbocharged Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis models, including various Stinger, Optima, Sorento, Sportage, Sonata, Santa Fe, Tucson, Elantra, Kona N, Veloster, Genesis Coupe, G80, and G70 variants. It supports multiple tuning maps for different fuel types, including 91 octane, 93 octane, and E85 ethanol blends. For optimal performance gains, a minimum of 91 octane fuel is recommended. While normal driving fuel economy remains unchanged, the tuner significantly improves 0-60 and quarter-mile times.
