JB4 Performance Tuning System

The Burger JB4 represents the most advanced and highly featured tuning system available for your BMW's B38, B46, and B48 engines. Engineered for enhanced performance, functionality, and safety, it delivers impressive power gains, with up to 40 wheel horsepower (55 crank horsepower) on a B48 engine, and even more when combined with other modifications or higher octane fuels. Installation is straightforward thanks to a plug-and-play harness, allowing for easy fitting and removal. This tuning system goes beyond basic performance chips by offering features such as on-the-fly map switching between stock and performance maps, optional in-dash gauge displays for boost, boost limiting by gear for improved traction, progressive water/methanol support, built-in data logging, and code reading capabilities. It also includes optional direct EWG control to prevent throttle closure with exhaust modifications and exhaust flapper control. The JB4 is designed to be the first and only modification needed to experience a faster and smoother driving experience. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 for iOS and Android devices via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or a BMS data cable for Windows laptops. Both allow for recording and analyzing vehicle data, changing maps, and updating firmware with new features. The JB4 automatically detects between B38, B46, and B48 models for simplified installation. For 2018+ G chassis vehicles with digital dashes, an adapter or BMS data cable is required for map and setting changes until a firmware update is released.
