JB4 Plug-and-Play Engine Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 tuner is a plug-and-play performance module for turbocharged Mazda vehicles equipped with the 2.5L SKYACTIV-G Turbo engine. It connects to existing sensors in the engine bay, integrating with the factory ECU to optimize boost pressure, ignition timing, and fuel delivery. This allows for significant performance gains, including up to 40 wheel horsepower and 50 wheel torque, while also reducing turbo lag. The JB4 utilizes a high-speed processor and advanced digital-to-analog converters to ensure smooth and responsive power delivery. Installation is discrete and can be reversed without leaving a trace, preserving factory ECU settings and fuel economy during normal driving. For enhanced functionality, the JB4 includes a CANbus OBDII connection, enabling it to monitor critical engine data such as pedal position, throttle position, timing advance, fuel trims, air/fuel ratio, and engine knock in real-time. This allows for more sophisticated tuning algorithms and unparalleled performance. The tuner comes preloaded with custom tuning software and offers up to 8 maps for various fuel types and modification levels, including E85 compatibility. Additional features include the ability to read and delete fault codes, view and record extensive engine parameters via a smartphone app (sold separately), and implement boost-by-gear control for improved traction. The JB4 is made in the USA and includes a 5-year warranty. It requires 91 octane fuel or better for optimal performance gains.
