JB4 Plug-and-Play Tuner

The Burger Tuning JB4 is a plug-and-play performance tuner designed to significantly enhance turbocharged vehicles, including the 2022+ Ford Maverick and Mondeo 2.0L EcoBoost, as well as the 2025+ Ford Maverick Lobo and Tremor variants. It interfaces with your vehicle's existing ECU tuning by connecting to two accessible sensors in the engine bay, allowing it to remap boost, timing, and fueling for optimal performance and a reduction in turbo lag. Unlike flash tunes, the JB4 is fully reversible and leaves no trace within the vehicle's computer, ensuring the car remains unaware of its enhanced performance capabilities. This tuner features advanced CANbus functionality, enabling it to receive critical engine data in real-time, such as pedal position, throttle position, timing advance, fuel trims, air/fuel ratio, engine knock, and gear selection. This data integration allows for precise, real-time tuning adjustments, surpassing the capabilities of simpler tuning systems that cannot monitor or incorporate such vital information. The JB4 offers multiple performance maps, catering to different fuel types like 91 octane, 93 octane, E85 blends, and unleaded race gas, as well as a VALET mode and factory tuning settings. Additional features include boost-by-gear settings for improved launches, the ability to read and delete fault codes, and control over exhaust flap operation on supported vehicles. The JB4 system includes the JB4PRO adapter for wireless connectivity to a Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS or Android device. This allows users to analyze vehicle and tuning data, switch between performance maps, and receive free firmware updates. The accompanying JB4PRO app offers an intuitive interface, help features, and advanced log analysis tools. The tuner is housed in a billet aluminum enclosure, is designed and assembled in the USA, and comes with a 5-year warranty. Requires 91 octane or better for performance gains.
