JB4 Plug and Play Tuner

The Burger Motorsports JB4 (V2) is a plug-and-play performance tuner specifically designed for Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis vehicles equipped with the 2.5T SmartStream engine. It integrates seamlessly with your vehicle's factory ECU by connecting to easy-to-access sensors, allowing it to remap boost, timing, and fueling parameters for enhanced performance and reduced turbo lag. Unlike basic tuning chips, the JB4 features a sophisticated programmable CANbus system that analyzes numerous real-time data points such as pedal input, throttle position, engine speed, air/fuel ratio, knock, and more to optimize mapping. It also offers the ability to read and delete fault codes, with built-in safety features that prevent boost pressure until the engine reaches optimal operating temperature and reduce boost if overheating, lean conditions, or excessive knock occur. The JB4 supports multiple tuning maps for various fuel types, including 91 octane, 93 octane, and E85 ethanol blends, with maps selectable on the fly. Fuel economy during normal driving remains unaffected. The tuner is compatible with all factory driving modes and comes with a 5-year warranty, is designed and assembled in the USA, and includes a billet aluminum enclosure. Connectivity is enhanced through included Bluetooth 4.0 support for iOS and Android devices via the free JB4 PRO app. This app allows users to wirelessly connect to the JB4 for data analysis, map changes, and firmware updates. The app provides an intuitive interface with advanced log analysis tools to help estimate performance and identify any tuning concerns. The tuner is not VIN-locked, allowing it to be easily swapped between compatible vehicles or resold.
