The Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner is a performance module designed to significantly enhance the speed and driving experience of compatible turbocharged BMW vehicles. It functions as a plug-and-play system, installing between your car's sensors and its DME/ECU to manipulate engine performance. Unlike basic chip tunes, the JB4 offers a more advanced approach with full CANbus integration, real-time data logging of up to 40 engine parameters, and smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for map changes, data analysis, and firmware updates. This tuner delivers substantial power gains, with the potential for up to 100hp and 140tq to the wheels on a stock vehicle, leading to improved 0-60 and quarter-mile times. It supports multiple tuning maps suitable for various fuel types, including E85 ethanol blends, and features boost-by-gear control for enhanced traction. The JB4 also includes the ability to read and delete fault codes and can control exhaust flap operation on supported models. Installation is a quick plug-and-play process, and the JB4 is not VIN-locked, allowing for easy removal and transfer between vehicles. It also comes with a 5-year warranty and a billet aluminum enclosure, with the unit designed and assembled in the USA. Requires 91 octane or better for performance gains.
