JB4 Tuner

The Burger Tuning JB4 Tuner is designed to be the ultimate performance upgrade for your S58-powered BMW G87 M2, G80 M3, or G82 M4. This device enables a transition from factory stock performance to a full-race configuration, with the flexibility to adjust settings for various driving conditions. Installation of the JB4 is straightforward and completely reversible, requiring no cutting or splicing of factory wiring. Key features include user-adjustable boost limiting for 1st and 2nd gears, electronic wastegate control, and seamless integration for ethanol fuel mixtures. Advanced CANbus-based diagnostic tools are also built-in, offering enhanced safety and functionality beyond typical performance chips. The JB4 Tuner connects wirelessly to iOS and Android devices via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or to a Windows laptop using the BMS data cable. This connectivity allows for real-time data logging and analysis of engine parameters, map adjustments, and firmware updates. A separate purchase of the JB4 Mobile app is required for smartphone integration. Users can view and record up to 40 engine parameters and utilize boost-by-gear control for optimized launches. Performance enhancements include gains of 80 wheel horsepower (whp) and 100 wheel torque (wtq) on pump gas. With higher octane fuels or E85 mixtures, gains can reach up to 150 whp and 175 wtq. The system comes preloaded with custom S58 JB4 tuning software and supports up to 8 maps. It is compatible with all driving modes, and fuel economy remains unchanged during normal driving. A minimum of 91 octane fuel is recommended for optimal performance gains. The JB4 is housed in a rugged billet aluminum enclosure, made in the USA, and comes with a 5-year warranty.
