JB4 Universal Water Methanol Injection Kit

The Burger JB4 Universal Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) Kit is engineered to unlock substantial power gains on pump gasoline by effectively lowering intake air temperatures and increasing octane. This system provides a cooling effect akin to running 100 octane race fuel or E85, but with the potential for even more power due to its enhanced cooling capabilities. The core of this kit is its seamless integration with the BMS JB4 tuning system. This allows for precise, dynamic control over the WMI pump and solenoid, enabling progressive flow mapping based on various engine parameters such as boost pressure, throttle position, engine speed, intake air temperature, and gear. A critical feature is the pump current feedback to the JB4, which provides a comprehensive flow-based safety system. If the WMI tank runs empty or flow is interrupted, the JB4 will automatically reduce engine performance to prevent knock. Options for injection nozzles range from single BM7 to dual BM10, with recommendations for 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and 8-cylinder applications. Users can also select line types, including standard or an optional steel braided hardline upgrade, and choose from various WMI tank sizes (1.25, 2, or 3 gallons) to suit their needs. An optional billet tank cap with a check valve is also available to help retain vapors. Specific fitment is noted for certain BMW models: the 3 Series F30 (2012-2018), F80 M3 (2015-2020), 4 Series F32 (2014-2020), and F82 M4 (2015-2020, does not fit convertible). Additionally, a specific 2-gallon stealth tank is designed for the F10 BMW 5 Series (2011-2016, all models including M5). The system allows for WMI activation or deactivation from the driver's seat and automatically disengages during traction control or safety map situations. WMI flow data can be displayed on-dash or via a JB4 Mobile logging device.
