JB4 Universal Water/Methanol Injection Kit

The Burger Motorsports JB4 Universal Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) Kit enables substantial power increases on pump gas, providing cooling effects similar to 100 octane race fuel or E85, with the added advantage of enabling higher power levels than either alone. This system integrates seamlessly with the JB4 tuning system, allowing for sophisticated, progressive flow mapping that adjusts based on boost, throttle position, engine speed, intake temperature, ignition timing, gear, and other data accessible via the JB4's CANbus system. A key safety feature is the pump current monitoring, which feeds back to the JB4 to overlay with fuel trims and pressure, creating a robust, flow-based safety system. If WMI flow drops or the tank empties, the JB4 will safely reduce performance to prevent engine knock. The kit is designed for user control, with WMI activation/deactivation from the driver's seat, automatic disengagement during traction control events or safety map situations, and the ability to display WMI flow data on-dash or via the JB4 Mobile app. It includes all necessary wiring and mounting hardware. Users can select nozzle options (e.g., BM7, BM10, BM12, or dual nozzle setups for better atomization), line types (standard or steel braided hardline upgrade), and various WMI tank sizes (1.25, 2, or 3 gallons), including specialized stealth tanks for specific BMW models. An optional billet tank cap with a check valve is also available to retain tank vapors. Injection nozzles are 1/8" NPT and feature a "super atomizing" design for optimal performance. Nozzle recommendations vary by cylinder count, with smaller, dual nozzles generally preferred over a single larger one for improved atomization and distribution. The stealth tank options are designed for specific BMW chassis, including the F3X/F8X 3/4 Series and M3/M4 models (excluding convertibles), and the F10 5 Series (2011-2016). The universal tanks are suitable for trunk mounting in a wide range of applications.
