The Delta Model 498000 transfer tanks are designed for short bed trucks, including those with 4-door cabs. These tanks feature a unique L-shaped design with extended sides above the wheel wells to maximize capacity. Constructed from durable 14-gauge steel, all tanks undergo pressure testing to ensure leak-free performance. Key features include built-in lifting rings for easy handling when empty, a lockable filler cap and coupler to prevent excessive pressure buildup, heavy-duty brackets for secure installation in the truck bed, and a safety fill capacity that allows space for liquid expansion in warm weather. The tanks are equipped with 2-inch NPT reinforced bungs for convenient use from either side, and a drain plug for safe drainage of combustible liquids.
