The Honda JDMB20B is a 2.0L inline-4 DOHC gasoline engine, originating from Japan (JDM) and specifically designed as a high-compression "long block." It is stated to fit the 1997-2001 Honda CR-V models that utilize the B20B engine. This engine has been imported with low mileage, typically between 40,000 and 60,000 miles. While it functions as a long block, you will need to retain and transfer your original intake and exhaust manifolds, alternator, power steering pump, and air conditioning components for installation. The product comes with a 90-day warranty that covers internal engine parts against issues such as rod knock, cracked blocks, and internal failures. However, this warranty explicitly excludes labor costs, damage from overheating, improper installation, modification, abuse, competitive driving, or use of non-manufacturer specified fluids for transmissions. Accessories and external parts like the alternator, power steering, and A/C components are provided as a courtesy and are not covered under warranty. It is strongly recommended that installation be performed by a licensed professional in a certified facility to ensure compliance with manufacturer service manuals and to maintain warranty validity.
