The Integrated Engineering JE 180 Tool Steel wrist pin is engineered to provide ultimate strength for high-performance engine builds, particularly those exceeding 125HP per cylinder or utilizing extreme forced induction or nitrous. These wrist pins are manufactured from through-hardened 52100 high-carbon bearing steel, chosen for its high-strength and low-ductility properties, making it ideal for demanding racing conditions. Each pin undergoes rigorous verification for dimensional accuracy and roundness to ensure consistent performance and reliability within your engine's rotating assembly. The specifications include a 20mm pin diameter, a 2.250-inch length, a 0.180-inch wall thickness, and are designed for compatibility with JE pistons and aftermarket rods. This upgrade is sold individually, so be sure to order the correct quantity for all pistons in your build. The JE 180 Tool Steel wrist pins are specifically designed to fit JE pistons on VW/Audi engines with the following applications: 1.8T 20V 06A, 1.8T 20V 058, and 2.0T FSI (EA113).
