JE Forged Piston Set

The CTS Turbo JE 2.0T TSI/TFSI EA888.1 piston sets are designed as a direct replacement for factory pistons in VW/Audi 2.0T TSI (timing chain driven) turbo engines. Engineered by JE Pistons, these forged pistons are built to endure the rigorous demands of daily driving, road racing, drag racing, and competition applications, capable of withstanding acceleration forces exceeding 8000 G's. These pistons utilize JE's state-of-the-art FSR forging with an asymmetrical skirt design to reduce mass and friction without sacrificing strength. The larger skirt on the loaded side handles high-pressure combustion, while the smaller opposite skirt aids in weight reduction. They feature a full-width wrist pin and wide pin bosses for durability and an offset pin to minimize in-cylinder noise for quiet operation. Each set includes JE wire locks, Pro Seal piston rings, and standard JE wrist pins, and undergoes a 23-point post-production inspection ensuring exact finish and critical tolerances. Key features include individually prepared inspection reports detailing dimensional conformity, individual serialization for complete traceability, and machining of all critical surfaces within a dedicated Critical Manufacturing Cell. Please note that these pistons are available in a stock compression ratio of 9.6:1. The FSR design may necessitate modification or spacing of oil squirters for clearance on certain blocks.
