The IE Spec JE Forged Pistons, part number JE-30T-389543, are a performance-oriented piston set developed in collaboration with JE Pistons for Audi's B9 3.0T EA839 engine. Key features include a complete set of six pistons, Pro Seal rings, pin locks, and massive 22mm wrist pins for increased reliability under high boost. The pistons utilize JE's trademarked tuff-Skirt coating for extended longevity. They are designed with a drop-in factory bore size, utilizing 84.5mm stock bore and 22mm wrist pin diameters. The forging material is 983M, and they are tested to withstand up to 1000 ft-lbs of torque. To address potential knock issues in high-boost builds, Integrated Engineering has specified a lowered 10:1 compression ratio.
