The Clevite MAHLE 41870CP.030 is an engine piston ring set designed for high-performance OE replacement. These rings are constructed from SAE 9254 high-alloy steel, offering enhanced strength, fatigue resistance, and hardness compared to standard options. The set includes compression rings with a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and optimized gap chamfers to reduce blow-by, as well as intermediate rings with a reverse twist design for better groove side sealing. The CP-20 oil ring assemblies feature a 20-degree ear angle for superior side seal against the cylinder wall and a special chemical polish for enhanced oil drain back.
