These ball joints feature a unique metal-on-metal design that eliminates the nylon bearing liner found in original equipment (OE) ball joints, significantly increasing the bearing surface. The ball joint bodies are constructed from a proprietary blend of sintered graphite, bronze, and 1045 steel for maximum strength and bearing smoothness, while the ball joint stud is forged from 4140 steel for enhanced durability. They are completely serviceable with an included grease fitting and are rebuildable. This non-knurled design is intended for new steering knuckles or those with tight bores that have not been worn or enlarged.
