JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter

The JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter is proudly designed and built in California, offering a significant improvement over the factory shifter for Audi B6/B7 S4 and RS4 vehicles. This meticulously engineered component replaces stock plastic moving parts with a new JHM steel shaft, a solid pivot assembly, and a tig-welded steel lower link, ensuring enhanced durability and precision. This shifter is configured to provide a 1/2" shorter knob height and offers adjustable throw reduction settings of 40% and 25%. It comes completely assembled and retains the factory pushdown reverse mechanism. To accommodate aggressive driving styles, it includes three sets of pushdown reverse springs: a soft (plain), a medium (silver), and a stiff (gold) option, allowing drivers to tailor the shifter's feel to their preference. The product includes Delrin bushings for reduced slop and additional clearance within the shifter box, contributing to the maximum possible throw reduction. Additional hardware such as bearings and aluminum bases may be included or available separately.
