The Tazer is an electronic OBD2 plug-in device that unlocks a wide array of features for compatible Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. Its primary function is to enable features that are otherwise unavailable or require complex modifications. Installation is designed to be a simple matter of plugging the device into the vehicle's diagnostic OBD2 port. This programmer offers extensive customization, including enabling SRT Drive modes, factory Sport Mode, SRT EVIC Performance pages, and paddle shifters. It can also disable TPMS, change DRL settings, enable shift lights, and disable navigation lockout and seatbelt reminder chimes. For performance enthusiasts, features like Line Lock (without requiring additional plumbing), customizable engine and transmission modes, and force power modes (e.g., forcing red key performance on Hellcats) are available. Advanced users can utilize features such as AutoUpshift with custom RPM points, Peak RPM Display, and 0-30/0-60 timers. For 2018 and newer vehicles, a security bypass is mandatory for the Tazer to function. This includes a Double Bypass harness for 2018+ Charger/Challenger/Chrysler 300 models, or an SGW Bypass Module for 2018+ Durango/Grand Cherokee models. Additionally, a PIN Lock feature allows you to set a steering wheel button sequence to prevent the vehicle from being driven without authorization, which should be disabled before car washes or valet services. The Tazer enables features like Remote Windows (raising and lowering front windows via keyfob) and Button Remapping for quick access to functions. It can also enable extra video inputs for cameras or video players on compatible Uconnect radios.
