REKUDO JL8 Rear Calipers - Black. Fits 1968-1981 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird with JL8 Rear Brake System - Black with REKUDO Logo. JL8 4-wheel disc brake system with 4-piston forged aluminum calipers for 1970-1981 Camaro/Firebird, and 1965-1982 Corvette. Caliper material - forged aluminum 7075 aircraft grade. Factory style rubber caliper piston dust seals to keep out road debris. Bleeder screws with caps – keeps bleeders clean. Uses 3rd generation Corvette (C3) style brake pads – easy to service - available in a wide range of pad compounds. Calipers work with Rekudo front spindles, front hubs, rear caliper brackets, dust shields & rotors. Calipers are 50% lighter than stock (stock Cast Iron 12.5 lbs vs. Rekudo Forged AL 6.25 lbs). Caliper finish options with or without REKUDO logo – red & black powdercoat or raw forged aluminum. Calipers designed with finite element analysis – for light weight and strength. Piston sizes optimized to maintain proper brake bias front to rear. 7/16” banjo bolt style brake hose attachment (Earls 977504ERL) - available separately for plumbing flexibility in custom applications. Calipers sold in pairs – for front or rear.
