JLU HIGH CLEARANCE LONG ARM UPGRADE DIESEL

The EVO MFG JLU High Clearance Long Arm upgrade kit is designed for ultimate suspension and chassis clearance, increased wheel travel, optimal suspension geometry, and improved ride quality. The front arms mount high, nearly flush with the bottom of the frame, inches above the stock front lower mounting bracket. Rear mounting locations are on the side of the frame, above the bottom, providing inches of clearance over factory locations. This design ensures optimal geometry while maximizing clearance. The rear control arm mounting at the axle is also raised by multiple inches, resulting in significant ground clearance, smooth ride quality, and long travel. Brackets are designed to avoid exhaust cutting on 3.6L JLU models (minor flange grind/clearance may be needed) and feature full-length hard-face mounting surfaces that weld to the frame for strength. Brackets align with existing factory holes for precise installation. Control arms feature Johnny Joints on both ends for unrestricted articulation. Lower long arms are constructed from 2.0” x .281” wall Steel DOM Tubing. This upgrade converts short/mid arm suspensions to long arm by reusing existing lift components (coil springs, swaybar links, bumpstop extensions). It can also be combined with EVO Front and Rear coilover kits. Cutting, grinding, and welding of frame brackets are required.
