This kit by RockJock replaces the rubber front differential housing upper control arm bushings on your Jeep TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, or ZJ with high-articulation Johnny Joint rod ends. This upgrade allows for maximum articulation of your front suspension, especially when combined with existing Johnny Joint control arms, ensuring all control arm mounting points are Johnny Jointed. The kit includes a machined Johnny Joint insert for the driver's side of the differential, a weld-in tombstone bracket with a Johnny Joint for the passenger's side, 7/16-inch greasable bolts for both joints, and an installation tool. RockJock's Johnny Joints are known for their durability and provide over 30 degrees of quiet, shock-dampening articulation per joint without the excessive deflection found in softer rubber joints. They offer a smooth on-road ride and superior off-road capability. The joints are fully greasable via zerk fitted bolts. The finish is clear zinc plating on the insert and raw, weldable steel on the tombstone bracket.
