Description

The VIS Racing JS Style hood provides an upgraded, high-performance aesthetic for 1992-1995 Honda Civic 2-door and hatchback models. Built using a two-part construction, the hood features a Grade-A carbon fiber top layer bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and a one-piece, smooth underside shell to enhance structural integrity. Each piece is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating to ensure a high-gloss finish, with edges meticulously smoothed by hand. To improve durability and weight, this hood is manufactured using the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which results in a component that is 10-20% lighter than traditional manufacturing methods. Professional installation is recommended for this product. Due to the nature of its intended use, the installation of hood pins is required for safety. This item is intended for off-road use only unless local and state laws specify otherwise.
