The VIS Racing JS Style hood is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber material, bonded with a high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating. This provides a durable and high-gloss aesthetic. VIS Racing employs a two-part manufacturing process, featuring a one-piece, smooth underside shell fused to the carbon fiber top layer to enhance structural integrity and a hand-smoothed edge finish. In 2014, VIS Racing introduced the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) which results in parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable. The company is transitioning its full line of carbon parts to this V.I.P. process to offer these benefits without a significant cost increase. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks include a badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of its intended use, hood pins are required for installation. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local and state laws indicate otherwise. The hood is specifically designed to fit the 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, and 1994 Nissan 240SX models with a 2-door hatchback body style.
