The Collins transmission swap kit enables the integration of a Nissan CD009 (350Z/370Z) 6-speed manual transmission into Lexus SC300 models equipped with either a 1JZ or 2JZ engine. This kit utilizes the Aisin A340/A341 automatic bell housing (J1, J2, or J3 series) found in various Toyota and Lexus models from 1986-2007. The adapter plate and included components are designed to work with specific engine and transmission combinations, including the 350Z (CD001-CD009) and 370Z (JK40 series). Options are available for various clutch systems, flywheels, crossmembers, driveshafts, and shifters to tailor the swap to your needs. To complete the installation, the user will need to supply a master cylinder (a Toyota Celica master cylinder is recommended), a shift boot, and potentially a bell housing if not already sourced. A 3.5-inch angle grinder is required to modify the stock 350Z bell housing. The system is designed for direct fitment, ensuring a straightforward installation process for enthusiasts looking to upgrade their SC300 to a 6-speed manual.
