Overview

The BMR Premium K-Member is a chassis and frame component designed to reduce weight and increase weight transfer for 1996-2004 Ford Mustangs. It is manufactured from 1.5-inch DOM steel tubing and 0.1875-inch steel plate, featuring a coilover spring and strut shock style design. This K-member is compatible with BMR's AA041, AA042, AA044, and AA045 A-arms, as well as factory and aftermarket engine mounts and steering racks.

The BMR Premium K-Member (KM744) is engineered to significantly reduce front-end weight and improve weight transfer for 1996-2004 Ford Mustangs, making it ideal for street performance, drag racing, and handling applications. This component replaces the heavy and bulky stock K-member, shedding approximately 19.5 pounds from the vehicle's front end while maintaining the stock engine height. Constructed from robust 1.5-inch DOM steel tubing and 0.1875-inch steel plate, this K-member features a coilover spring and strut shock style design, specifically intended for use with coilovers as spring perches are not included. It is engineered as a direct, 100% bolt-on factory replacement, ensuring a straightforward installation process, which typically takes between 3-4 hours. This Premium K-Member offers enhanced bracing compared to BMR's Standard K-Member and utilizes SN95 steering geometry. It is designed to be compatible with BMR's AA041, AA042, AA044, and AA045 A-arms, as well as both factory and aftermarket engine mounts and steering racks. The K-member is available in a durable red or black hammertone powder coat finish for long-lasting aesthetics.
