K&N 17-18 Nissan Pathfinder V6-3.5L F/I Typhoon Air Intake

The K&N 69-7084TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Nissan Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing, smoothing and straightening air flow to dramatically reduce restriction. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake for more acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The system includes a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space to keep radiant heat from the engine away from the intake air. The smooth intake tube funnels air directly into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. It accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The attractive silver powder-coat finish on the tube is designed for durability. Also included is a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively simple, using existing factory mounting points and usually taking 90 minutes or less with common tools (flat blade screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, ratchet set, and 3mm and 4mm allen keys).
