K-Pro V4 Engine Management System

The Hondata KPro V4 is a programmable engine management system for the 2005-2006 Acura RSX, providing comprehensive control over key engine parameters. It allows users to tune fuel injection, ignition timing, VTEC engagement, cam angles, and boost control, which is essential for maximizing performance from basic intake/exhaust modifications to forced induction setups or engine swaps. This system utilizes a modified 2002-2004 RSX ECU (PRB, PND, PPA, or PPL) combined with an adapter harness, enabling plug-and-play installation in the 2005-2006 RSX chassis. The internal hardware modifications ensure compatibility with later model sensors and outputs. Users can tune and datalog via a USB connection using the KManager software, with onboard 8MB datalogging capabilities offering up to 215 minutes of recording depending on channels and rate. Key features include support for larger injectors and aftermarket MAP sensors, safety strategies for lean conditions, low fuel pressure, and overboost, as well as launch control and anti-lag functions. It also offers Bluetooth support, an integrated Hondata Mobile App, flex fuel capability via an ethanol sensor input, and expanded fuel and ignition mapping for up to 60 PSI boost and 11,000 RPM. When selecting a core option, you can choose to send in your own compatible ECU for modification, or Hybrid Racing can supply a tested and verified PND base model ECU or a PRB Type-S ECU. The PND option does not retain reverse lockout functionality, while the PRB option maintains full feature access, including reverse lockout. Important compatibility notes: This KPro system is certified only for use in the 2005-2006 RSX chassis. Some sensors may need to be disabled, and the 05-06 O2 sensor is incompatible; an O2 sensor from an 02-04 RSX or 02-05 Civic Si must be used. Cruise control may experience issues at higher speeds due to speed sensor differences. This product is intended for off-road or racing use only and is not legal for highway use in the United States.
