K-Pro V4 Engine Management System

The Hondata K-Pro V4 is a comprehensive engine management system specifically engineered for the 2005-2006 Acura RSX chassis, offering enthusiasts the ability to unlock the full tuning potential of their K-series engines. This system replaces the restrictive factory ECU, providing direct control over critical engine parameters such as injector size, MAP scaling, ignition timing, fuel delivery, VTEC crossover points, and boost control strategies. Included with the K-Pro V4 is a modified 2002-2004 RSX ECU (available as PRB, PND, or PPA/PPL variants) paired with a dedicated adapter harness. This setup ensures seamless integration with the 05-06 RSX's factory wiring and sensors. The K-Pro V4 facilitates tuning and datalogging via a USB connection and the user-friendly KManager Windows software, allowing for real-time adjustments and performance analysis. It also features onboard 8MB datalogging capabilities, configurable support for larger injectors and aftermarket MAP sensors, and integrated safety strategies for lean conditions, low fuel pressure, and overboost. Several core options are available for purchase. You can choose to send in your own compatible ECU for modification, or opt for a unit supplied by Hybrid Racing, available as either a PND Base Model ECU (which notably omits reverse lockout functionality) or a PRB Type-S ECU, which retains all original features, including reverse lockout. Important compatibility notes apply: The Hondata K-Pro V4 is certified exclusively for use within the 2005-2006 RSX chassis. Some sensor compatibility may require adjustments, and the 05-06 O2 sensor is incompatible, necessitating the use of an O2 sensor from an 02-04 RSX or 02-05 Civic Si. Cruise control may also experience issues at higher speeds due to speed sensor differences.
