The ARP 208-4701 is a performance-oriented cylinder head stud kit specifically engineered for Honda and Acura K-Series K20A (A2 & A3) 2.0L VTEC engines. Constructed from premium 8740 chrome moly steel, these studs boast an impressive 200,000 PSI tensile strength. This robust construction ensures superior head gasket sealing and prevents head lifting, even under the extreme stresses of street, track, and racing applications. The manufacturing process includes threads rolled after heat-treatment for enhanced fatigue strength and centerless grinding for perfect concentricity. To facilitate installation and aid in cylinder head removal in tight spaces, the stud ends are broached. Each kit comes complete with heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers.
