The Hybrid Racing Cold Air Intake is a true 3-inch tube design for K-series engines. It features a full silicone construction and includes a velocity stack and filter. This intake is designed for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX (without brake cooling ducts), 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3), and 2001-2005 K-swapped Honda Civic non-Si models.

The Hybrid Racing Cold Air Intake system provides a genuine performance upgrade for K-series engines, focusing on power gains rather than just increased noise. Its true 3-inch true tube design, coupled with a high-flow velocity stack and filter, ensures optimal airflow for your K-series engine. This intake is developed around RBC and RRC intake manifold configurations and is intended for use with throttle bodies of 70mm or larger. Installation is designed for specific applications, including the 2002–2006 Acura RSX (note: must be without brake cooling ducts), the 2002–2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3), and 2001–2005 K-swapped Honda Civic non-Si models. While it generally avoids battery relocation on most RSX setups, the EP3 and K-swapped Civic models may require battery relocation or bracket modifications. Trimming of the LH fender liner might be necessary for proper routing, and washer bottle removal or relocation is needed. OEM Type R brake ducts and fog lights may also require modification. Important compatibility notes include the mandatory requirement for an RBC or RRC intake manifold and a throttle body of 70mm or larger. The included replacement radiator hose is specified for K20A/A2/A3/Z1 engines and may not fit K20Z3/K24 variants. This intake system has demonstrated power gains of 5–10hp over typical short ram intakes by providing denser air through lower inlet temperatures, leading to more consistent power delivery.
