It includes a master cylinder, slave cylinder, and clutch line. The OE JDM slave cylinder works on all 01-15 Honda K-Series transmissions and does not have a clutch delay valve or dampener, which can lead to missed shifts.

This kit addresses common issues with newer OE master cylinders that can lead to premature drivetrain failures and grinding during hard shifts due to ineffective fluid transfer. By upgrading to an older, more direct, and efficient system, drivers benefit from a consistent clutch pedal feel that also improves high-RPM shifting. The included OE JDM slave cylinder is designed for all 01-15 Honda K-Series transmissions and notably omits the clutch delay valve or dampener found in some factory units. While clutch delay valves are intended to reduce driveline shock, their slow response can contribute to missed or locked shifts, potentially damaging gears and synchros. This upgrade kit aims to resolve such issues, though it does not repair a damaged transmission itself. Installation requires some modifications depending on your specific application. Hybrid Racing recommends using genuine Honda MTF in your manual transmission and DOT4 or high-temp brake fluid for the clutch system, with frequent fluid changes advised. This kit is compatible with K-Swap applications including the 1994-2001 Acura Integra, 1992-1995 Honda Civic, 1996-2000 Honda Civic, and 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol. Please note that this system does not fit RHD (Right Hand Drive) vehicles.
