The Innovative Mounts 90550 is a conversion engine mount kit specifically engineered for the 2001-2005 Honda Civic EM2 chassis, facilitating the swap to a K-Series engine. This kit is compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions, though K24 engines may require additional modifications, such as using the timing belt post mount from an 02-06 CR-V. Constructed with performance driving in mind, this mount kit utilizes unique no-tear vibration-minimizing bushings. You can select from optional bushing stiffness levels: 75A (Black) for 250-400HP, 85A (Grey) for 400-500HP, and 95A (Red) for 500+HP. This design removes the dampening oil containers found in OEM mounts, which helps reduce wheel hop and increases driving response. The kit is CAD/CAM designed, stress-analyzed, and includes hardware for use with stock/OEM components. However, it is strongly recommended that installation be performed by a mechanic or automotive specialist. For optimal fitment, the RSX (DC) or Civic Si (EP3) subframe (rear crossmember) and K20 transmission must be used. It's crucial to verify fitment before installation, as mounts cannot be returned or swapped once bolt impressions are revealed.
