K-Series E8J V2 5-Speed Sequential Gear Kit

The Quaife K-Series Sequential Gear Kit E8J V2 is a 5-speed sequential gearkit engineered as a direct replacement for the standard six-speed H-pattern Honda transmission, specifically for EP3 and FN2 Honda Civic Type R and DC5 Integra models. This kit is ideally suited for demanding applications such as circuit racing, drag racing, and rally use, offering an ultra-rapid, positive sequential gear shift. The QKE8J features a specially designed Quaife outer gearbox case that includes an additional support bearing for enhanced durability between 4th and 5th gear. Its compact, drum-style sequential gearchange mechanism and open-face dog design contribute to its high-performance shifting capabilities. This sequential gear kit is designed to re-use the original EP3/FN2/DC5 bellhousing half of the transmission casing. This allows for the retention of the stock Honda clutch, differential, driveshafts, and mounting points, simplifying installation and integration. The kit utilizes wide straight-cut (spur) close-ratio gears to minimize transmission losses, with available gearing options for rally, race, or drag racing applications. A helical gearset option is also available for road and track day use. Key technical features include a strengthened outer casing, five wider gears, and the option for an LED Digital Gear Position Indicator.
