This slave cylinder is specifically made for K-Series transmissions and addresses issues found in some newer K-Series cars (05-06 RSX, 06+ Civic Si) which have internal oil restrictors or feedback plates that slow fluid movement. This slowdown can lead to incomplete clutch engagement and disengagement, potentially causing premature wear on synchros or gears.
