Overview

The KPower KM-ADP-K-MIATA is an engine to transmission adapter plate. It allows K series engines to be bolted to 1990-2005 Mazda Miata transmissions (5 and 6-speed). The adapter is machined from 0.500” steel plate, designed to be thin yet rigid. It includes all required high-grade hardware and custom-machined transmission side dowel pins.

The KPower KM-ADP-K-MIATA is an engine to transmission adapter plate designed to facilitate the installation of K series engines into 1990-2005 Mazda Miata vehicles. This adapter plate is precision-machined from a 0.500” thick steel plate. The choice of steel over aluminum ensures a balance of rigidity and thinness, preventing the need for additional flywheel mass that might be required with thicker plates. Each adapter plate is manufactured in-house, individually test-fitted, and deburred before receiving a zinc plating for corrosion resistance. The package includes all necessary high-grade hardware and two custom-machined transmission side dowel pins to ensure a complete installation.
