Overview

The K-Tuned K-series Upper Coolant Housing is designed for K20Z3 and K24 engines. It features a pivoting hose outlet that allows for approximately 15 degrees of angle adjustment, which can help avoid interference with intake piping. This housing offers three available hose outlets, including a standard 1.25" option for regular rubber or silicone radiator hoses. An optional filler neck can be added to relocate the radiator cap to the highest point of the cooling system for easier air pocket escape during bleeding.

The K-Tuned K-series Upper Coolant Housing is engineered to provide significant advantages over stock units for K20Z3 and K24 engines. Its key feature is a pivoting hose outlet that offers up to 15 degrees of angle adjustment, a crucial benefit for routing the upper radiator hose clear of intake piping, a common issue with fixed factory outlets. This housing is designed with versatility in mind, offering three distinct hose outlet options to accommodate various radiator hose setups. It comes standard with a 1.25" outlet suitable for typical rubber or silicone radiator hoses. For more specialized setups, an optional filler neck is available, which relocates the radiator cap to the highest point in the cooling system. This elevated position facilitates easier bleeding of air pockets, addressing a known challenge with these engines. The optional filler neck can be configured with either a 1.25" hose connection or a 16AN fitting and is designed to work with an OEM 92-00 Honda Civic radiator cap.
