The K-Tuned Universal A/C & P/S Eliminator Kit is a direct-fit solution for removing air conditioning and power steering systems from K-series engines. Constructed from billet aluminum with a new black anodized finish, this kit features a 7-rib belt system for optimal performance and compatibility, mirroring OEM specifications. This eliminator kit serves multiple purposes by deleting the A/C, P/S, and the factory belt tensioner. The alternator is relocated to a lower position, typically where the A/C was, which significantly increases clearance, especially in tight K-swap engine bays. This relocation is particularly advantageous for EF chassis K-swaps, providing much-needed headlight clearance. Furthermore, the mounting tab for the original tensioner can be removed, which facilitates easier installation of ITBs and custom intake manifolds. The kit is engineered to be completely universal, working seamlessly with K20, K24A, K24Z7, and custom engine builds. K-Tuned has developed a custom-length, 7-rib belt specifically for this kit, ensuring availability and proper fitment for all applications. Please note that this kit exclusively deletes both A/C and P/S; there is no provision to retain either system. For those wishing to keep A/C, K-Tuned offers an Adjustable EP3 Pulley Kit as an alternative.
