K to Getrag 260 Package

The KPower Industries K to Getrag 260 Package provides a complete solution for integrating a Honda K series engine into the BMW E30 chassis, targeting both competitors and dedicated enthusiasts. This kit is meticulously designed to maintain the balanced handling characteristics of the E30 by utilizing a high-revving four-cylinder engine, similar to the original E30 M3. The package includes essential components such as a transmission adapter plate (for Getrag 260 or E36/E46 transmissions), a K to BMW 5-speed aluminum flywheel, a custom extended Tilton release bearing, and 3/16” laser-cut steel engine mount arms with AKG Motorsport polyurethane pads. It also features an aluminum V2 E30-specific front sump baffled oil pan, a V2 K20 oil pump adapter, a V2 steel pickup tube, a KPower cast RWD intake manifold with hardware, a 74mm throttle body with an E30-specific throttle cable wheel, and a remote brake/clutch fluid reservoir kit. Installation is simplified with a plug-and-play K to E30 wiring conversion harness and a plug-and-play motorsports-grade C101 sub-harness. The kit also includes an E30-specific upper coolant neck with a temperature sender port and all necessary hardware. Detailed installation instructions are provided. It is important to note that this swap is compatible with right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles. Specific fitment details are crucial: the engine mounts are compatible with JDM K24A RBB, K24A2, K24A3, K24A4, K20Z3, K20Z4, and K24A8 engines. However, they do NOT fit K20A2, K20Z1, or K24A1 blocks due to incompatible bolt-hole locations. Additionally, a BMW Z3 Steering Rack is required for optimal performance, and early model E30s (1986-1987) may need a cluster swap for proper tachometer function. For Link G4X ECU users, specific O2 sensor and scan port functionalities will not be available, requiring additional Link components.
