K-Tuned Street Coilovers

The K-Tuned K1 Street Coilovers are engineered to provide an optimal balance between daily drivability and sporty performance for select Honda and Acura models. Designed for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX DC5 and the 2001-2005 Honda Civic ES1, EM2, and EP3, these coilovers aim to deliver superior ride quality without compromising comfort or reliability. The system features a spring rate of F-8K / R-9K and dampers that are 25% stiffer than stock, offering a more responsive feel. The adjustable ride height and 12-way dampening adjustments allow users to fine-tune the suspension to their specific preferences and driving conditions. Key internal components include a durable, heat-treated steel piston and needle valve for precise travel and compression. High-heat rated double seals on the piston rod ensure leak-free operation. The springs are constructed from high-tensile strength steel, tested for durability and to prevent sagging or premature wear. Each spring sits on adjustable aluminum perches, enabling adjustments to preload and travel. For McPherson style struts, integrated washers and spacers ensure the system remains free-moving. The exterior of the coilovers is protected by a combination of powder coating, electroplating, and anodizing for both appearance and resilience. McPherson style struts are further equipped with adjustable upper camber plates and pillow ball mounts.
