K03 Upgraded Turbocharger

The KDM Tuners K03 Upgraded Turbo is engineered to deliver a significant performance boost for compatible 1.6T Gamma engines. Developed by KDM Tuners, who have been upgrading turbos since 2013, this unit aims to increase horsepower while simultaneously reducing or eliminating turbo lag. The design focuses on greater efficiency compared to stock turbos, leading to lower IATs, which in turn promotes more consistent power output and reduces strain on the engine's components. This "Stage 2 Upgrade" features a 49mm 9-blade compressor wheel and a 45.5mm 9-blade lightweight turbine. It also includes a 360-degree bearing kit, larger surface thrust collars, and precision assembly balancing for durability and performance. Dyno testing has shown results of 358.9 whp and 331.1 wtq on an automatic transmission vehicle running 91 octane fuel without methanol injection. This upgraded turbo is compatible with a range of vehicles, including the 2012-2017 Veloster Turbo 1.6T, 2013-2016 Forte SX 1.6T, 2017-2018 Forte5 SX 1.6T, 2017+ Elantra Sport (which comes with upgraded turbo, VT lower intake pipe, oil, and coolant lines), 2019 Gen2 Veloster 1.6T Gamma, 2017-2020 Kona 1.6T Gamma, and 2012-2019 Kia Soul 1.6T Gamma.
