The K04-001 is an upgrade turbocharger designed to be a plug-and-play 1:1 replacement for OEM units in various Audi and Volkswagen 1.8T engines. This oil- and water-cooled unit features an internal wastegate and upgraded compressor and turbine wheel dimensions (compressor: 54x42mm, 6+6 blades; turbine: 50x42mm, 12 blades) for enhanced performance. With supporting modifications such as a larger intercooler, 76mm downpipe, 200-cell racing catalytic converter, and an ECU remap, this turbocharger can achieve up to 260 horsepower. It is crucial to note that the oil supply and return lines must be replaced after installation; these can be sourced from a VAG dealer. The turbo inlet measures 50mm, requiring a 50mm intake hose. This turbocharger is suitable for a range of models including the Audi TT 8N (150-180hp), Audi A3 8L (150-180hp), Seat Ibiza (1.8T Cupra, Cupra R, FR), Seat Leon 1M1 (180hp FWD), Skoda Octavia I (150-180hp), and VW Golf 4 (150-180hp) and VW Polo 1.8T 9N3 (engine codes BJX and BBU).
